Logging in to the course site
The CIS 350 course website is private. When it is turned on, you will need to sign in with your email before you can see the pages or open any file (slides, PDFs, notebooks). This page shows exactly what to expect - it takes about 30 seconds and there is no password to remember.
What you will see
When you open the course site (or click a lecture/lab/PPT/PDF link), you may be sent to a Cloudflare login screen that asks for your email address. This is normal - it is the course’s front door, not a scam.
How to sign in (step by step)
- On the login screen, type the email address your instructor added to the class list
(usually your
@rams.colostate.eduor@colostate.eduaddress). Click Send me a code. - Check your email inbox for a message with a 6-digit code (it arrives within a minute; check spam/junk if you do not see it).
- Type the 6-digit code into the login screen and continue.
- You are in. You will stay signed in on that browser for about 24 hours, so you will not have to repeat this every time.
Use the SAME email your instructor put on the class roster. If you try a different address
(a personal Gmail, a nickname alias), the code will not arrive or you will be turned away.
Trouble signing in?
| Problem | What to do |

| No code email arrived | Wait a minute, check spam/junk, then click “Resend”. Make sure you typed your email correctly. |
| “You do not have access” | You may have used the wrong email, or you are not on the roster yet. Email your instructor the exact address you want used. |
| Code says expired/invalid | Codes are single-use and time-limited. Request a fresh one and enter it promptly. |
| It keeps asking me to log in | Allow cookies for the site, or try a normal (non-private) browser window. |

If you still cannot get in, email the instructor (ramadan.abdunabi@colostate.edu) with the exact email address you want to use for the course site, and you will be added.
